After saving and restoring this beloved 1920s school building, the design more than doubled the school size and reconfigured the campus to provide a front to busy Government Street. A new front entry is central to the entire campus, while the detailing, proportions, and material selections of the additions reference the original historic design. Well-received by the community, Dufrocq has once again become a true neighborhood school.
